Design of VANSE Industrial Ceiling Fan Blades
Date: 7.2.2021     Author: Vanse
The fan blade is an important part of the large industrial ceiling fan.It is also the key factor for the performance of the large industrial fan. After years R&D testing by the factory,Vanse industrial ceiling fans have continuously adjusted various parameters and adjusted the actual operation, and invented the unique variable cross-section streamlined 5-blade fan blade in the industry, and obtained the corresponding invention patent.Compared with the common 6-blade and equal-cross-section blades on the market, the fan covers a wider area, consumes less energy, and has a larger air volume.

The performance of large industrial fan blades is affected by many parameters, such as blade shape, blade inclination, blade spacing, blade thickness, blade number, blade attack angle, blade end clearance, blade width, main shaft diameter, etc.,and the parameters are mutually exclusive.Constraints and complex relationships.Vanse Ventilation Industrial Fan,after continuous testing and adjustment, has made a balanced design for the fan blades, taking into account the following factors:

Blade shape
Common fan blades are of equal cross-section,and Vanse ventilation fan blades, based on Joukowski (a famous Russian aerodynamicist and pioneer of contemporary aviation science, proposed the function, laying The theoretical basis of wing aerodynamic calculation) wing section design, and then according to the design needs, according to the data of the angle between the root and end of the blade and the rotation axis, the width of the root and the end,and other data are rotated and stacked to form a three-dimensional fan blade surface. And perform curve fitting, and finally complete the entire fan blade model design, and make it into a variable-section streamlined fan blade that is more in line with aerodynamic principles.

Blade curvature
Within a certain range, the greater the blade curvature, the greater the kinetic energy of the gas at the same rotational speed, that is,the greater the air volume and wind pressure; at the same time, the greater the resistance to the blade, the greater the torque required for the motor.

Blade inclination
The greater the inclination angle, the greater the pressure difference between the upper and lower surfaces of the blade, and the greater the wind pressure at the same speed; however,if the pressure on the upper surface is too large, backflow may occur, which will reduce the performance of the fan. Therefore, the inclination angle of industrial large fan blades should also be increased within a certain limit.

Blade spacing
If the distance between the blades is too small,it will cause airflow disturbance, increase the friction on the surface of the blades, and reduce the efficiency of the fan; if the distance between the blades is too large, the pressure loss will increase and the wind pressure will be insufficient.Factors must enable a reasonable range of industrial large fan blade pitch designs.

Number of leaves
The reasonable number of blades for industrial large fans is odd numbers such as 3,5,7,etc.This is because if an even number of blades with symmetrical shapes are used, and the balance is not adjusted properly,it is easy to cause the system to resonate. If the blade material cannot resist vibration The fatigue of the blade or the mandrel will break,so the Vanse industrial large fan adopts an odd-numbered (5-blade) fan blade design.

Blade smoothness
This is an indicator that is not influenced by design factors, and basically depends on the manufacturer's mold forming and post-processing processes.Outside of the design curve, unevenness on the blades will create turbulence during rotation, increase friction, reduce fan efficiency, compromise fan performance, and increase operating noise. Therefore,Vanse ventilation strictly controls the smoothness of the blade surface during production.

Fan blade vibration
Large industrial fans are generally made of aluminum alloy fan blades with a certain degree of toughness, which can withstand a certain degree of physical deformation, and also vibrate due to force in the process of pushing the air,but the amplitude is generally small.Another serious vibration is due to the uneven distribution of the mass of the fan blade, and the eccentricity between the center of mass and the center of rotation. When the fan blade area (mass) or eccentricity is large,it may cause the fan and even the radiator to vibrate as a whole, which in turn affects the entire chassis.

Wind noise The air flowing in the air interferes with each other, rubs against surrounding objects, the separation effect of the blades on the airflow, and the pulsating force of the periodic air supply, etc.,will generate noise. The faster the air velocity, the more turbulence, and often the louder the wind noise, and it will accelerate with the increase of the wind speed. The main impact of noise is reflected in the physical and mental health and safety of users, and the vibration accompanied by noise may cause click wear, loose interfaces, and scratches on the discs, which endanger the use.

Vanse  is one of the few large industrial ceiling fan manufacturers in China that has its own production plant, and all major design components are produced in-house,never purchased and assembled from outside. We focus on the optimization and research and development of various components of industrial large fans, and Vanse ventilation, focusing on the research and development and production of industrial large fans!
